Easter is the culmination of Lent, a Christian period of fasting, prayer, and penance, that celebrates the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Easter is symbolically related to the Jewish Passover. Easter traditions also include Easter eggs, the Easter bunny, and Easter parades.

Easter Eggshakers: Fill plastic Easter eggs with smal hard items such as dry beans, rice, coffee beans, or small rocks. Glue or tape the eggs securely closed. Jam out! After using the eggs as instruments during the session, feel free to decorate eggs with stickers or acrylic paints.
